The purpose of the meeting was to mobilize support and participation in the upcoming 31st Coronation Anniversary of H.R.H. Omukama Solomon Gafabusa Iguru I.
During the event, the Premier led the chiefs in planting a commemorative tree at KKCR Radio and encouraged all Banyoro to participate in tree planting as part of the coronation anniversary celebrations.
He also applauded Dr. Mwalimu Musheshe for his significant contributions to the development of Bunyoro Kitara Kingdom and called for continued engagement and collaboration with the Kingdom.
Dr. Anthony Lwanga Claret, Academic Registrar of African Rural University, representing Dr. Mwalimu Musheshe, commended the Premier for his visionary and attentive leadership. He announced that URDT has allocated a weekly 1.5-hour radio segment on KKCR 91.7 FM for the Kingdom to mobilize and educate the public.
In addition, URDT has offered complimentary accommodation, meals, and space for Kingdom programs during any of the Prime Minister’s visits to Kagadi.
